WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER A CHEMICAL PEEL

Please remember that no matter how badly your skin itches throughout the post-treatment recovery process, it’s not a good idea to peel the skin off. You could create scarring on your skin! Will my face hurt after a chemical peel?

Based on the peel used, you may have mild discomfort throughout the treatment and shortly after. If you have a lighter peel, you will notice some stinging; however, it can be alleviated with a handheld fan. Medium depth peels are better for deeper skin concerns and longer-lasting results, but they can be a bit more uncomfortable. Can I combine a chemical peel with other treatments?
