The HydraFacial and the chemical peel both address different skin care goals. A HydraFacial can treat deeper skin issues without the recovery time that’s needed for a chemical or laser peel. This means that a patient can participate in more frequent HydraFacial treatments. Chemical peels are medical-grade treatments designed to address more significant skin problems.
What the HydraFacial treatment process looks like
HydraFacial treatments take place at Radiant Skin within the comforts of one of our private treatment rooms and take approximately 30 – 45 minutes to complete. Dr. Mustaklem applies the treatment in six steps: cleansing, exfoliation, extraction of the pores, moisturization, a nourishing serum, and protection. Depending on the HydraFacial treatment that’s been selected, there will be variations in the serums and therapies used. Once your treatment is finished, you may leave our clinic and resume normal daily activities.
Is there any downtime after a HydraFacial?
HydraFacials require no downtime; however, patients should expect temporary redness of the skin after treatment which will resolve within a few days. In fact, patients are allowed to conceal the redness with makeup.
Can I combine a HydraFacial with other aesthetic treatments?
